Cousin Cendawan changed job and got her first new salary. Our tradition is to have big feast :D. This time we had our dinner in a japanese restaurant.


The first side dish we had, worth SGD 20+. The fish bones were to be fried after we finished its meat. They took a long time to fry the fish bones, we thought they throw it to rubbish bin :p.

Unagi Sushi set that I had, also worth SGD 20+. :p Nice and filling :) yummy

Unagi fried rice. Dont look down on this bowl of fried rice, it worths SGD 10 ;). This was the only set that helped to lower down the overall expenses (SGD 153 for 5 persons).

Cendawan's BF Mr. Thin eating steak worth at least SGD 15 I think. That whole plate had 1 and only 1 piece of steak :o. So he finished dinner the earliest.

This time I get better material to cook. This is the first time cooking meat alone. Imagine tiny meat packaged inside egg with yolk.

Unfortunately, the egg with yolk was unable to cover up the meat, and broke up into small pieces. As it was too ugly to present, it was covered with Vege. :p Can you see the meat and egg with yolks inside? ;)

I was hungry, hence, I still finished it with no hesitate. :p

There is a party at night, ;) with good food ;). But I'm hungry now. And the fridge left these only:

1. Lots of eggs
2. Sweet corns
3. Durian ice-cream :D

Well, still better than nothing la :)

It's yet another lazy lunch. Hence, simply cook whatever left in the fridge.

Somehow, yesterday's lunch looked nicer. :p

Sat --> Sleep day. Hungry yet lazy to go out to hunt for food. Hence, cooking at home! I almost never cook before. But today, I made it!

During lunch, found that my technical computing blog site has more international visitors now. :)

See June is so happy to take so many food, lobster salad, dumpling, sashimi, steam egg, prawn "wife", prawn, oyster, ... If you look closely, we actually had started eating, and we always forgot to take pictures. Sometimes we finished everything, only then realize we forgot to take any pictures :p

June, Cendawan. Naive Cendawan so happy, no need to pay and eat all she can. :d But OK la, I got my bonus, so can treat Cendawan + her bf. :)

Cheese cake in Coffee Bean :D Of course this was not the same day. June was so happy to eat cheese cake in such a romantic environment. .... Mana tau the next day we attended a friend's wedding in Church, she said the 'free' cheese cakes there even more delicious! :o :o :p

After friend's wedding, we decided look for the hawker with Katong Laksa. June likes Laksa alot. :( Mana tau the Laksa was closed when we arrived. Luckily, we had avocado to drink :)

Some days later, we found durian selling nearby. :D $18!!!, we negotiated until SD 9 I think. But June said it was SD 10. 8) We ate durian at a corner. :p

Back: Satay, Lemon, Prawn, Unagi, Octopus. Front: Lobster salad, Grandmother of Prawn! Eaten many of these plates of food. :) And lots of lots of Sashimi, oyster, crab, steam egg, roasted beef, jelly, ...... :p Tell me if you wanna treat me these again :)

Back: Ah Liang (my elder cousin), xman. Front: Denise (my younger cousin), Denise's k-sister. Denise the beautiful little girl who treated us :) 4 persons around SD 200. :o Hooray!!!

Back: Merlion. Front: Ah Liang, xman. Merlion = Mermaid + Lion. I dont know why a lion has a fish tail. :p

Finally back to Singapore again and continue working life. The flight was crazy, departed at 12:00am (delayed) }:) on AA. I reached Singapore home only at 3:30am. Nevermind.

The lunch before the flight was funny though. We (Ivan + Fuimin + Lailai + CJ + Isaac + NNH + HZ + T + xman) were having lunch at Grand Port View. The food looked ok considering the price that we were going to pay. More importantly, there were coconut pudding there :d , what we missed at the dinner of the day before.

After getting all the main courses done, it should be pudding time. :) Isaac asked the waiter for the coconut pudding.

Isaac: Coconut pudding.
Waiter: Apa?
Isaac: Cooo...Cooo...Nut... Pudding.
Waiter: ...
:? Isaac: Kelapa pudding!!!
Waiter: Ooooo. Berapa?
Isaac: Dua.

After some time ....

Waiter: Sign ini.
Isaac: :? }:) Apa ini? Why need to sign one!!! (Isaac then pass the order paper to me to sign, but I no care :? , at last Isaac anyhow draw something there.)
First time in KK need to sign when we order!!! }:) Others like Fuimin also found it "qi sin".

After sometime .... I told Isaac, I think I saw the order was 2 cups of coconut pudding. :o Hehehe, he said may be one coconut is one cup. :? ... Luckily we did place an order for the coconut pudding when we ordered our main courses with the captain. Here the coconut pudding.

We actually ordered two coconut pudding, now only come one.
Isaac again asked the waiter: mana satu lagi coconut pudding?
Waiter: Tiada.
Isaac: Apa itu? (pointing at the coconut pudding at the cashier)
Waiter: Mana?
Isaac: Di cashier sana. Itu bukan coconut pudding?
Waiter: Bukan. Bukan.
:?
Later on a waitress taking the coconut pudding to our table. So now we have our two coconut pudding.

After sometime ..... the "so lau" waiter taking two cups of coconut pudding to our table :p . Naaah, Isaac, your 2 cups coming. We were already eating the coconut pudding, so the waiter can just take the two cups back. "So lau" really.

......

Billing time. So we asked for the bill. It took them quite sometime to calculate and send us the bill. When I saw the total, it was RM 500++. :? The main dishes already RM 490++. "qi sin" HZ quickly said ini salah. Asked him to take back to counter. Then we saw there were more than one tables' bills there!!!! The waiter "za xi" asked they are not together with you meh? (he was pointing at the table upstair at the same time) ..... qi sin again.

It took us quite some time again to get the bill back again. This time we calculate very carefully before we pay. ...... What a "qi sin" restaurant. If T is paying, may be he'll just pay the RM 500++ bill without asking :p , as he desperately wanna get out of the place (we were teasing him alot about him and his gf).
